Update

Mike had his procedure this morning and is doing fine. I am happy to say that the doctor said that this was caught early enough that the medicines they have been giving him reduced the blockage by 30%. So now with diet, exercise and medicine he should be able to turn this around. Praise God! Mike is going to have to follow up with a Cardiologist in a few weeks. Having a heart attack this young is not good. So he is going to have to stay away from stress. Well as you all know our life has been all stress for a while now. So pray for our family to be able to continue to fight.

The girls are doing fine. The poor things have been through so much. They are in Charlotte and being taken care of by family and friends. Thank you so much for being there.
Your praying worked and I am so thankful. When he is up and about I can wait for him to read the comments.
Now for you Satan I guess you must have not been happy with my results Friday so you thought you could mess with my man! Well I hate to break it to ya. We are fine:)

Apt Today with Oncologist

Ok the Dr says I look good and my counts are good! I ask tons of questions. It seems that I just need to get through the next 6 months. I see her again in Sept. It is time to start adding vitamins, calcium and vit D to my diet. It seems that the medicine that I am on makes the bones weak. So I will have a bone density test next time. Still waiting on my test results from the genetic testing. Another apt out of the way. Lord I am claiming this! Looking forward to seeing that 3 year mark!!!

Send up a Praise for me tonight thanking God for getting me to this point! Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for everything.

Sending blessing to all of you

My teacher, mentor and friend

I have been so excited to blog about this but it was not the right time until now. When I was a little girl about Alexa's age I had a Math teacher who I loved. She was a young, energetic, positive young lady. She was always smiling and working the classroom. She knew how to keep us focused and keep us in line. A few years after I had her as my teacher she helped me during my parents divorce. She was very good to me. I remember her telling me when it was time for her to get married she was going to have me in her wedding. I guess about 5 years later I was asked to be in her wedding. It was a blast. She has kept up with me all these years. I have called on her when I needed advice. I have called on her when I needed help with teaching the girls Math. She has been a great friend. Why she picked me to take under her wing? Over the years she has worked hard and now has her doctrine. I am so proud of her. She has a gorgeous voice and gives all the Glory to God. She has written her own songs and has her own CD. She has a passion for loving the Lord. During the last 9 months she has been there for me. Sometimes I would just call her and ask her to pray for me. She did not allow me to feel sorry for myself. She knew when I needed a push. So back in April she can to stay with me for a week. She shared my life, went to my church (which I love so much) and prayed with me. It was an amazing time. I want to thank God for bringing her into my life.

Dr. Mary J. Woolridge-you are an angel from God and I am blessed to know you. I pray for God to protect you. I pray that God continues to use you.

I love you-Friends Forever

Dont have the energy to hang

It is the end of the year for school and boy is there a lot going on. Friday I did field day with Savannah, Sat the carnival with the girls school and today field day with Madison. I can not hang like I use to. The sun and the heat...I just can not do a long day. It is really hard for me not to be able to do everything that I use to. My prayer tonight is please allow me to become stronger and healthier.

Thanks for you comments last week. I am starting to get uptight about my dr apt on Friday. I know this is probably normal.

Tomorrow I am going to share my visit with a friend. I have been wanting to blog about her for about a month. Just so much going on. Miss the blog world and plan to catch up over the weekend.

Looking forward to school getting out and Summer fun with the girls!

Praising God for continuing to heal me. Thanks for praying for me:)

It's Been A While

I am looking forward to this school year being over! It has been one thing or another. It seems like nothing is going right. Do you ever feel like you can't get a break? Well that is how I feel. I have completely lost focus and it feels terrible.

My results for my genetic testing came in but they can't get me in until the 15th. So I said well why did you call me then?? So on the 15th I will have a better idea of what I am dealing with. I have my next oncology apt on the 5th. I will be going back to Greenville for both of these apts. My prayer for these two days are that the Lord continue to keep me protected. I am praying for my results to be negative so my girls do not have to worry about this ever. I pray that my oncologist can guide me on what is next. How do I build my immune system? I feel like a am having to fight against some of the side effects from radiation. Pray for my body. I have been feeling muscle tighten, swelling in my ankles and sometime it seems like popping in my lungs.

Just a little lost right now. I know you all will know what to say to help me back on track.

Pictures :) Going home to see my kids

Do you remember when I talked about God giving me a sign during one of my apts at radiation and when I went into one of the rooms I looked up and saw this blue butterfly. I love this picture. It seemed whenever I needed some encouragement I was sent in this room.
This is the room I ended up in today. I have been released from radiation until 6mons from now. The dr said that if I am going to have any side effects it will happen in the next 6months.

While I have been home I have been enjoying my roses. I love taking care of them. It is one of my favorite things to do.

The back of my house. Lots of roses everywhere. It was nice to be home.

This what I woke up to on Mothers Day! Did you see me traveling from Charlotte to Greenville????
I will be on my way back to Charlotte in the morning. I have a prayer request. My back has been hurting for about 2 weeks. I am a little worried so if you can pray that God touch me.

It was Amazing-Relay for Life

Thanks for all your comments. It was a great show on Friday night. I am in Greenville and I left the camera in Charlotte so I will post pictures over the weekend. You all would have been proud of me. I wore my purple while giving God all the Glory! I even went w/o my wig towards the end of the night. You all know how hard that was for me. So you will get to see some great pictures. Thanks to all of you who came out to support me. Hemby Bridge had a fabulous tent. Thanks for being so great to me and the girls. Ms. Stanley it was great to meet your Mom. She is a fighter! To all the teachers and staff you all are wonderful and you represented your school with honors. I am proud to be a part of HB. I am still fighting like a girl!!

Tonight was awards night at Alexa's school in Greenville. I attended and little did I know she was getting a trophy:) It could not have come at a better time. She is going to be so happy on Friday when I can hand it to her. She just found out that she did not make the squad here in Charlotte. So lots of tears:(

The girls are feeling better and Mike is starting to feel bad so thanks in advance for you prayers.

I went for genetic testing today and I will get the results in 2 months. Pray for my results to come back negative. It will lower my girls risk for this terrible disease.

I owe you all a lot of pictures. So I will be back in Charlotte on Friday to work on that.

I have my radiation follow up on Thursday. Praying that he gives me a good check and that everything is fine.

Nothing on the sell of the house. I am leaving in God's hands!!

Much love
Cindy

Happy Mothers Day Late to all of you wonderful Moms

Surprise to me and Praising God for friends and family

Sorry I have not been on in a while but I have been trying to get organized and get the girls on a schedule. I am doing fine. My skin is looking good. I go back to the Dr on the 13th for a check. So I am feeling pretty good. I have been staying busy and I guess so busy that my family and friends had me thinking that I was going to a birthday party for a little girl yesterday....well to my surprise it was my party. I was in shock because I am not one for liking surprises. I must say it was a lot of fun and it was so great to see everyone. I was very emotional. I know all of you have been pulling for me and praying for my daily. I would have pictures today but I did not bring my camera so I will have to wait to get them from my friends.

One of my surprises was I got to meet one of my bloggy friends!! A dream come true. Sorry I do not know how to link yet but it was Mimi. You can go to my side bar and go to her blog to see the pictures. If you have never been there you will be blessed for sure! It was so wonderful. It meant the world to me. She has prayed and followed me from the beginning. I knew immediately when I saw her and her husband. It was too awesome. Of course I feel like I know all about her and her beautiful family. Nicki from Three Girly Girls help set this up so thank you Nicki. Nicki has also helped me stay focused from the start:) Make sure you stop by her blog too. It was neat to see my family who reads when they comment get to meet them.

Thanks again for all the effort everyone! I love you all tons. I hope to have pictures up soon. Thanks for celebrating with me.

New Graduate of Radiation 101

Finally finally finally!! The radiation machine was fixed over the weekend. So on Friday I was treated on a different machine and then yesterday and today I finished. Hallelujah!! Of course the doctor was in a procedure so I have to go back in the morning to get released until I see him again in 4 weeks. Oh well. I made it. A little over 7 months. Can you believe it. Yes that was the key to this all. Even when I could not see or did not know what direction to turn. BELIEVING was the answer.

Thank you Lord for getting me through 6 chemo treatments, thank you for getting me through a double mastectomy and removal of my lymph nodes, and thank you for getting me through 30 radiation treatments. Giving you all the Glory.

Thanks to all my family and friends. Thanks to all my blog friends for guiding me and keeping me focused. Thanks to my girls for telling me that I was beautiful and that I was the coolest Mom with my bald head. Thanks to my husband for loving me.

Continue to pray for me to heal and detox my body. Now it is time to celebrate. If you have not left me a comment on my giveaway you still have time. I will pick the winner tomorrow at 9pm.

The girls are doing great!

GIVEAWAY TIME-I Love Monogramming

Well the radiation machine is still broken. I have never heard such a thing. They are hoping to be able to treat me tomorrow. So we will see. Mike and the girls are traveling tomorrow to come home. So I am super excited. I was wanting to celebrate being done with radiation with another giveaway so I am going to continue. So here we go. Monogramming on the car is very popular here. I think it is very cute. So all you have to do is leave me a comment for one entry and mention it on your blog for another entry. Thanks so much for all your support. It means so much.

Continue to pray for me during these next few days. I know that God is in control and I will follow.

Happy Spring Break

How do you deal with stress?

I go and buy a wig:) So what if I cant go to radiation today!

RADIATION MACHINE IS BROKEN:(

I am getting ready to walk out the door when the phone rang. Mrs. Summers our radiation machine is down. It will be down all day because they are flying in parts from somewhere else. Oh and not sure if it will be ready tomorrow. We will let you know. AARRRRGGGGHHH....NO NO NO NO I wanted to be done on Friday. This a real bummer. I did go to the gym though and walked an hour so I could chill out.

Be back later

3 more days of Radiation

I am a walking drug store right now. What am I using? Well I am using pure Aloe (not the green or blue we always use after we go to the beach) because it does not have alcohol. I have learned that the other stuff actually dries out your skin. So try pure aloe from the health food store it is a great healer. I use polysporin on the parts that are raw. I use vitamin E pills (pop them and pour on the skin) and cooling lotion without parabins (toxic chemicals). I also am stretching and trying to fight the tighten of my skin. It is a lot but I rather do more than not enough. Continue to pray for me during this last week.

3 more days, 3 more days! I cant say that enough today.

The girls are coming here on Thursday and I am so excited. Thank goodness for Spring Break:)

Friday will be time to celebrate so I will have a giveaway. So pop back and help me celebrate the end of a long 7 months. I know that I still have a long time ahead of me but it is nice to see the end of this chapter. Racing to the finish line and fighting like a girl.

I love you Mike, Alexa, Savannah and Madison Belle

You would have thought I have been somewhere tropical

First off I just got home today from seeing my girls! It was a fun weekend. They all look great. Thanks to all my family and friends for helping out. Without you ALL I would be having a much harder time here. Mike you are doing a great job.

So now it is time to celebrate only 4 days left of radiation. I am so sunburned and I can not even say that I have been to some exotic and tropical island. Oh well I will just pretend. One thing that they told me is that it will keep burning for sometime after because of the accumulation. I was not happy to hear about that. So just say a little prayer for my body to heal from all of this.

First showing of my house. Come on buyers get out there!

I know that I have missed bunches of calls in the last few weeks. Sorry between radiation, PT and the gym I have had little time. The dogs have filled in the rest of my resting time. Spoiled little monsters.

Have a wonderful day I am looking for the finish line:)

I LOVE YOU ALEXA, SAVANNAH AND MADISON

Apostle Hope Carpenter

Church was awesome tonight. The guest speaker was Hope. Her husband has a big church in SC. She really spoke to me tonight. She reminded us that God does not always work the way we want Him to. That He is always good. She reminded us how important it is to study the Word. She said we have do what His word says and live by it everyday. To be obedient. She said to know what God promises and follow His guidance. She said to wake up everyday waiting on the devil so we are not surprised. She said to become more intimate with God by reading His covenant which is our agreement. We need to read it for ourselves and not hear it from others. I encourage you to start a daily journey of building a relationship with Him. I will pray for you:)

AS I stood at the alter, Hope placed her hands on me while praying for continuing healing I sang this words. It was amazing.

Alexa's decision and we support her

So after our meeting as a family Alexa made the decision to withdraw from school here in Greenville and start school in Charlotte on Monday. Yes I said MONDAY! I tried everything I could to get the county to make an exception. Answer is NO! So I have been running like crazy getting the girls ready. OK so I said GIRLS! This cap on the schools effects all three of them. So Mike and I decided to enroll all of them to get their spots. They all were enrolled 2 yrs ago and it was a wonderful experience. So we will see. Mike is going to have his hands full. He will be taking on working and taking care of the girls. I am going to stay back here and finish my treatments and sell the house. I am so going to miss the girls. I have never been away from them for more than a week. They are going to come home on the weekends. So what do you all think? Are you shocked? I am. It hit me when I saw Alexa's friends crying today. It breaks my heart. My girls have been through so much. Lord please watch over them.

One more thing thrown in my lap! I am being pushed and tested but I am pushing through.

Lord give me the strength.

Day 9 of radiation is done!! I am beat from a very busy week. Pray for our travels tomorrow after radiation. Sending much love!

Lord I Pray that you touch my skin and tissue.

Lord I am sending Praise to you for all my friends who are stepping up and helping out with the girls. I love you all.

We had our meeting

This a long and crazy story. So I hope I can explain this right. You all know that the Army transferred Mike. We have the house up for sale. So the plan is move over the summer and get the girls ready for school. Well we had something thrown on our plate. I am so often compared to someone in the Bible and his name starts with a J! Lord give me the strength The county in which we are moving to is over capacity and they are not enrolling anymore students after the 18th of March. They are not giving enough time for families to react. So all along I have been telling my daughter that everything is going to be OK .You are going back to your friends. Well now I have had to tell her that she will have to go to another school that is farther away and start fresh and pick up her life her and leave it behind. Or she can stay here. She has friends, A student, loves her teachers and has a little boyfriend. So what is a girl to do.......

To be continued!

Day 8 went fine. I did not get to see the doctor yet. Thanks for praying and I look forward to Praising God tonight at church for getting me this far.

Day 7 Radiation

I finished day 7. I think I see the Dr tomorrow. I have some questions. Why did I get x-rays yesterday and today? It so freaks me out. Is something being hit that is not suppose to or it is just routine? So far I am doing fine. I had PT today. It is a great time because I am trying to keep stretched because radiation tightens the skin. Thanks for praying for me. Pray that radiation does what it is suppose to do and nothing more.

Going to rest

Hoorary Yippe Haha....

I am done with Day number 5 and done for the week. Thanks so much to Pat and Sherry for helping this week!

Radiation feels like how you feel after you have been in a tanning bed. It has been 15 years since I have been in one but I remember that feeling. Your skin feels hot. You have that tiny bit of sunburn feel and you have the chills a little because the wind is hitting you. So that is how I feel right now. I am putting pure aloe from health food store on every hour and I am also stretching. Not sure if it is going to help from getting too burnt and loosing the elasticity from my skin but it is worth a shot.

I am having to make big decisions this week about moving and the girls. So please pray that I be lead in right direction. I will blog about it tomorrow.

Thanks for standing with me and fighting for me. You all are the strongest Prayer Warriors and I am glad you are fighting this battle with me. Off to PT now:)

Radiation Day 2

Day 2 of 30 treatments. Well I feel fine. I did take a short nap today. I am trying to keep my strength. I do feel a little sunburned. It has been so cold here so being outside has been very uncomfortable. If you have ever been sunburned and you get the chills that is the way it feels. So I can not imagine how it is going to be if this is only number 2?

I go to my oncologist tomorrow after radiation. So I have bunch of questions. I have not seen her since Dec 31. I will be getting my port flushed. Icky-Yucky- I am such a wimp:)

Thank you for praying for me and walking with me everyday. Praying for complete healing. Praying for protection during this next few weeks.

Radiation Day 1

Not sure what to think. It does take longer to get set up then the zap itself. I am keeping aloe on the area right now. I figured if I kept aloe, drank a lot of water and stretched maybe it would make it a little easier. I am not sure though? So if you know anything or have some advice for me...speak up:)

Mike is in Atlanta for a meeting this week. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law are here to get me use to my new journey.

Pastor Reggie thanks so much for coming to radiation with me. The Power of Prayer is what I needed so thanks for coming to pray for me.

Thanks to all of you for praying for me and believing. I am praying for complete healing. Lord thank you for giving me everything that you give me. I thank you for everyday.

So continue to pray for me as I start this journey.

Happy Birthday Lee over at Prayergifts:)

Hmmmm Hmmmm Hmmmm waiting.....

Well I was waiting to hear from the Dr about when I start simulation before I blogged again. I still have not heard and they said that they would call me Mon or Tues. So of course "little miss bundle of nerves" yes that is me starts thinking maybe something is wrong with my ct scan. You know what I am going to pause and call them.....

OK here we go I have to run after them. So tomorrow at 9am I will get my final marking and go through simulation. Pray for me.

Alexa and I had a great time last week. I was glad the girls got home safely and we have been homeschooling hard this week already. If the weather warms up off to the park with the other Hschoolers in the area:)

Thinking we may hit Charlotte this weekend for quick hey before radiation. Then back on with the pink gloves. Boy I never thought I would be going through this. It was been a rough road but I am fighting hard. I will stop by and visit soon. Looks like a lot of fun things going around. Keep blogging!

I have a cross in the middle of my chest

I went to the radiation center today. I was measured and marked today. I felt a little weird when a cute, tiny, blond early twenties comes and gets me. Ms Summers? Come with me and put this gown on. She had to fit me for the CT scan. I was thinking "I wonder what she thinking when she is looking at me." I still have some stitches. I am very insure about the double mastectomy still. When I got home to look at the markings I see a cross in the middle of my chest. I took it as a sign that God was with me. I know it must look scary because it still is for me but I am push and fighting on. Thank you for all of your support and praying. Love you dearly.

As for my news. You all know that the Army has transferred us to Charlotte. (if anyone is attending She Speaks remember to let me know) Well since we move so much we have always sold our home by our self. Of course it is different times but I was planning on sticking with it. I had an open house for Realtors. One of the realtors approach me and said she wanted to help me. I thought of course everyone wants to help me. Realtors are hungry so everyone wants to sell me house. She said again no I want to help you! I look at her and said do you know me? She said I talked to your husband and I know you have cancer. She said that I have been passing your house for weeks now and I know that I am suppose to do this. I wish I could do this for everyone but this is the place I need to be. I am looking at her. She said that I want to tell your house for $0. I will not make any commission and the owner will not charge you anything. She said we need to take care of you and sell your house and get you to Charlotte with your husband. So I was brought to tears. So last night she had a stager come and work on my house. It was weird seeing 5 people moving stuff around. Alexa was feeling bad and not too thrilled with what they were doing. Anyway God is good and I can not wait to see what happens.

In the next few weeks I am going to be Paying Forward, Passing on a blog award that was giving to me by Mimi and Cindy(sorry I am behind) and a few Give Aways:) So lets have some fun. Make sure you check back.

My babies come back tomorrow! Miss you Savannah and Madison.

Back tomorrow for markings

I have no idea what is going on or what to expect?? I went to today thinking I was going to get marked but I was wrong. It seems they like to meet with you a few times to talk and examine you. So are they making sure this is what I want? Shoot yes! Lets get this party started. I found out some news though. They told me that I am not a candidate for implants. I was confused because my breast surgeon knew that is what I wanted from the beginning. I did not know about the other option until I met August and Gayla. So he was telling me if I wanted implants that I would have to go through another surgery and wait 4-6months for radiation because my skin would need to stretch. I guess after radiation your skin gets tight and it makes it hard to insert implants. So that was news to me. I have learned a little about having the fat or muscle moved from your tummy and reconstructing to your breast. I may not be saying it correctly? I thought that would put me a risk. I have heard that is wrong. Anyway he said if I did not get radiation it would compromise my therapy. So here I am??? Lord gave me the direction to say OK. So tomorrow I will proceed. Radiation should start the first week in March.

Yesterdays appt: Edie to answer your question. I can not have my blood pressure or shots in my left arm anymore. Nothing medical on that side. I do not have lymphedema in my left arm but I am high risk. So no hot tubs (my is forsale now) no hot showers. No weights or heavy arm swinging. Dont carry anything heavy. She said to get use to not carry my purse on that arm. No tight clothes. Since the lymph nodes filter the lymph fluid. It normally can regulate all of these things we normally do. In my case it cant so I have to care for my arm. I learned how to stretch so that I do not lose range of motion but of course not over do it which can cause lymph edema. The PT was great and very helpful. If anyone has advice feel free:)

I do want to tell you something that happened to me. God is taking care of me. I just want to make sure that I am not being taken advantage of first. Having cancer can make you vulnerable. So tomorrow I will share my story.

Pray for me tomorrow as I go back.

PS-Nichole you were right I was not alone. As I sat in the room before anyone came in I was quietly praying and when I raised my head I look up at a black and white picture of a pair of hands reaching to the sky letting go of a beautiful blue butterfly. God was showing me that I was STRONG and that I can do this. So he is "cool like that"

Say a prayer

Todays PT appt was fine today. Lots of info to read and lots to learn. I have to learn how to care for myself. Living w/o lymph nodes on my left side. I am glad I went.

Tomorrow I am not sure what to expect. I think they are just going to mark me and get me ready. I am so nervous. This will be the first time that I will be going to the drs alone. Please pray for me. Lord protect me and keep me safe.

Savannah and Madison- I miss you

Empty Nest

So this feels strange. Well I am not old enough to have an empty nest( it is just temporary) but Savannah and Madison left yesterday to stay with Mike's Dad until Friday. They are having a mini vacation. So I am missing them tons. Mike just pulled off a minute ago to head back to Charlotte. Today was a holiday for them. It was great to see him. The girls loved Valentines with him. He has always took the girls out on dates so they all got their time. Alexa is at school right now. It is just going to be the two of us. We are thinking of checking out a movie or two. I bet you can guess: Confessions of a Shopaholic and Fired up (cheerleading) I just need to see the rate and check them out first. So it will be a girls week around here. We have lots to catch up on. Seeing that she has a crush and they call each other bf/gf. It is the perfect time to chat. Yes Mike is about to die. His first born has a little more love to share other then him:) This leaves me with an empty nest during the days for the rest of the week.

I have an appt with the PT tomorrow. I am having problems with my arm and shoulder. I do not have full range and it is hurting something bad! Wednesday I will go to radiation. I believe I get marked and ready to go for the next week. I am getting nervous. So I am requesting all my Prayer warriors to give me a boost on Wed. Lord please continue to heal me and lead me to Victory.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend full of love

Mike is safe and girls are fine

This morning was OK. Mike made his way to Charlotte today. It was strange but everything went fine. I figured the girls would be fine the first few days. It seems to be the 3rd or 4th day when it affects them. Thanks for praying for me:)

So today is the first day that I have not been all bandaged up. I saw myself for the first time. It is a wow factor. I can not explain what it looks like. I think the long scar full of stitches is the most overwhelming. It is just another unbelievable experience that I for some reason am having to go through. Thank you for praying for me.

Tomorrow I have a lot of thanking that I would like to do. So it will be all about you.

Miss you Daddy:)

Doctor appt

Yesterday's appt went fine. My drains can out and I was happy about this. Now all I have to do is heal from surgery and I can start radiation. I am scheduled to have 30 treatments. My prayer request is to be cancer free. I know they took the lymph nodes out and I had my breast removed(sounds weird) but the fact that the chemo did not kill the cells complete is very unsettling. I need and pray so much for this to work. Continue to pray hard for me.

Next appt is Feb 18 with the radiation. Mike is leaving on Monday. I have my house up for sale. Lots to lift up and pray about.

Praises: Primary cancer gone, successful surgery, lymph nodes removed

Thanks for remembering me always. If you need a bracelet let us know. It seems 2 did not make it again. NH and I think NY

Its late and your sleeping

Dear Cindy,
Its late and your sleeping and Im thinking about you BIG TIME!!!! Im SOOOO lucky to have found you and was able to start a life with you 18 years ago. You have been my best friend that has always been there for me and our girls no matter what! Im as confussed and concerned as you are now but have peace that you will be ok! You are doing so well with all the test/treatments/surgerys/Dr visits(each one with new news and twist). I couldnt be prouder of you! I know as you are thinking aboout the past and future, you are scared and it must be over whelming! I want you to know that I love, respect, and cherrish you for who you are and who you have been and what its taking you daily to fight off this awfull cancer! emotionaly I try to stay strong, focused and confident.. Sometimes I have taken the trash just to be able to breakdown by myself because I dont want to upset you anymore than you are inside already. I know and the girls know how much you love them! We love you too! Getting my things ready for Charlotte has not been easy, it has just helped me stay busy. I feel so sad yet encouraged for June to get here! We will never have to be seperated again after this final chapter in our Military service!(unless we decide to keep on after feb 2011....) That will be your call at that time! sometimes I have a hard time getting to emotional with you> I want you to be able to feed off my strength and me yours! IM CONFIDENT IN YOUR FIGHT!!!!! you are a good woman and a great friend, and mother and I look forward to growing old with you!!!! As far as your friends, and our families, I want to thank you for being there for us and motivating us and being a support channel. Even though I will be in Charlotte, your always on my mind and never futher than a 4 hr drive! I miss you when your sleeping and Im awake.

Love, Mike

More snow?

They say it may snow again? I wonder...I have been praying for a sign. A sign to let me know where, what or why? Something.

Since I blogged last it has been a few days of confusing and unclear feelings. I did talk to my Dr on Friday. She seem to not be surprised that I had 11 nodes positive. She said since the Dr missed it a year and half ago. She told me that I was not done until radiation and the medicine I have to take is complete. She said that the chemo did work but just did not give me a complete response. It is scary to know that it could be floating around or in the tissue were the lymph nodes were. I did want to make something clear. During my surgery the doctor removed my lymph nodes. I guess I may have not been clear. As far as the surgery I feeling much better. I go back on Thursday to get checked again. Please continue to pray for me by name. I need for this therapy to work. I need radiation to clean up and sterilize my tissue. Please pray for me to be cancer free. Tomorrow I will be going were I will be having radiation. I will be learning what to expect for my next journey.

Thanks so much for leaving me comments. I need to surround myself around Scriptures of healing. Thank you for praying. Praising God for the tumor being gone.

I am trying to stay focused.

Love Cindy
Nicki-thanks for lifting me up on the mountain:)
