Strange- God or not

I love the way things happen when you are not excepting it to. I have been diving into learning how to get into homeschooling. I found stuff for math and LA. I figured that there would be plenty of great ways that I could work with the girls. I was sitting here thinking about science, SS, Geo and History and so on. Well I was cleaning my baker rack on the front porch. When I got to the top shelf I saw a beautiful nest. I asked my husband if he put it there? He said No?? Did the girls do it? I asked them and the answer was no. I started looking at the nest w/o messing too much. It was cool. So thought threw. The outside was made of strong old twigs made in a perfect circle. The inside was made of the soft and comfy hay/straw/twig. It was so interesting to think how the mom and dad know just what to do. The girls and I are now having a blast watching the beautiful miracle of starting a new little life. The mama layed her first blue egg on Sat and 2 on Sun and her last one Mon. She has been keeping her eggs so warm. Last night it got cold here and she stayed tight in her nest. This morning she left I guess to eat. We were watching and another bird came to the end of my porch. All the sudden the Dad flew up and stood on the nest and guarded them until mama came back. It was awesome. We are now waiting day by day to watch and eager to learn!! So did this just fall in my lap or is God telling me everything is going to be OK:)

Lots of info

ok I have spent the last week researching homeschooling. I have learned so much. I think I have all the info I need to get started. My goal was to get organized and learn as much as I can so I would be prepared for the Fall. I have met 2 women who have been more than willing to help me. So it is out there you just have to look. I have found a great resource that gave me many free ways to homeschool. That is the way I wanted to go. I did not want to get caught up in spending a lot of money on stuff. I want to spend more time and energy making up for what was lost this year. I have not said much to the girls yet.

Finally everything seems a little clearer!!

Blog Land-help

Ok I spend the morning looking at different stuff. So I need some help. I know you are out there. I was so surprised to see how much info and support is out there. So her I go! I have a 7, 9,11 year old and I am interested in homeschooling the girls this coming fall. I am looking for some guidance. I do not want to buy anything or go to any meetings right now. I just want to know how do I pull my girls records and how do I get set up? I am looking forward to hearing from you. If you do not want to put it on my blog let me know and I will give you my email address.

About me I am a stay home mom and wife of an active duty solider. I have 3 daughters who are doing great. Of course I move a lot and this is the first place that I am very unhappy with the school. It has been a long yr and I do not want to put them through it again. Pray for me about 30 days left!!!!

PRINCESS FOR A DAY

OK so yesterday was my birthday. It was a day of surprises and fun for this Mommy. I got to sleep in....no dog walking, no hungry babies no nothing. It was great. When I woke up at 10 YES 10 I was lead into the dinning room. I sat in my chair with a sweet birthday balloon. In front of me was a delicious plate of fresh fruit(strawberries, pineapple, r-berries etc) drizzled in chocolate and whipped cream. Oh it was yummy. A blueberry bagel and a Starbucks strawberry drink. I almost could not get up. After we ate I opened my cards and of course they all give me one that says something about being the favorite. A girl thing I think. Each of the girls painted a plate that I can hang up in the dinning room. They were so cool. I also got three tea roses for my front porch. Pink, yellow and red. They look beautiful. We are going to paint the pots for them to go in. The girls helped me dust and straighten my room and bathroom up. That took a while. For lunch they made me a scrumptious salad....eggs, cheese, berries and everything you can put in a salad. I again did not think I could move. They went out to play while I got to rest like a princess because I was soooooooooooooo tried from all the great food. We later went shopping and finished off the night with???????????? Yes dinner. They took me out and I had an incredible dinner. It was a lot of fun and they were so excited. I was so full from eating all day (I don't think I need to eat for a while) that we got ready for bed. In my room was fresh sheets and rose petals that my little one did for me. So that was my princess for a day story. And I slept happily all night long!!!

Thanks to my little angels

Having a good week

So this week is the first week in a long time that I have focused on me. Not the kids, dad, house or the dogs. Can you believe it! I have been eating really good and working out tons. I am so sore but I do feel good. I think this is what I needed to give me the boost. I am getting ready to go to an Army Conference. So I am trying to get my mind set. I will be flying out next week for 5 days. All by myself. I should be rested when I get back. So I am excited.

I don't want to jinx anything yet but one of my prayers has been answered. So yes to that!! Well I am pretty happy with things right now. I wish everyone a wonderful night.
