Well I am sitting here waiting to here from a close friend about funeral arrangements. I have been so busy trying to clean up from Christmas make a plan on how to get organized and try to get healthy(lose weight). I am sure this sounds familiar. So I get a call telling me my girlfriend's mom is dieing. Well everything comes to a halt.
Everything has changed. I need to not be so hard on myself. If I have a bad day and I don't get to the laundry or I run through the drive-thur I am not going to have a fit. I am going to go with the flow. I think we all need to take a little more time enjoying the small things.
I wish for my girlfriend to heal and feel peace. Say a little prayer for as she is now parent-less.

I will be heading to Charlotte tomorrow for the funeral. It is going to be sad but I know she is in a better place. Boy I bet it was a beautiful reunion for her and her husband. It is 18 yrs today that my girlfriend lost her dad. Seems so young to have both parents gone. Anyway thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I hope to be able to visit everyone.
My wish is to have a safe trip and give me the right words and comfort for my friend.
