My first Relay for Life! PURPLE

So today is the day that I have been dreaming of for a while now. It is my first relay for life. I will be walking at 6pm today with my purple survivor shirt on:) I am nervous and excited! My family and friends will be there with me too. All of you in blogland will be with me too. I hold every message, letter, card and call in my heart. This has been a scary journey. So thank you for all your support and prayers. I AM A MIRACLE!

I know that the next 3 yrs are going to be the most risk for me. I am up for the challenge. I love you all. Remember 9 pm lights out with all the candles burning. Light one for me (where ever you are) and say a prayer. Lord continue to HEAL ME. It is working.

As I read your post I was reminded of the song "This little light of mine" God has truly let your light shine for Him and others. Keep on shining! Prayers are lifted up today for you and may God smile down upon us as our lights shine for Him.
Hide it under a bushel??? NO.. I'm going to let it!

You are going to look amazingly beautiful in purple my friend! You are in my thoughts, prayers, and heart. Your are a beautiful example of walking in faith. So keep going...go out there tonight and walk holding His hand in faith...that He has the next three years all taken care of. He's gone before you. He loves you! And so do I!

Oh look....I'm getting those goosebumps again....Fighting like a girl is definitely the best way to win.

Congratulations to you and all your friends and family that were there for you.

Good Luck on your walk.

Oh, guess what...I received some really cool initials in my mailbox a few days ago. They were smaller than I thought they would be, which is a good thing.

CK will love them and she MUST post a picture when she gets them on her car.

Thank you again!!!

Oh Cindy, I'm so happy for you to have come through fighting like a girl through this journey! I will be thinking of you, wearing purple. Maybe thats why the skirt I wore today has so many purple flowers :) Anyways, You go girl!

Have fun tonight! Don't be nervous. Everyone in blog land is cheering you on! I sponsored one of my co-workers who is doing a walk on Sunday in honor of her mom.

You are lifted up in prayer! Happy Mothers' Day!

May you walk this relay with the faith and hope that you have had through out this journey. You are such an amazing woman, wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and child of God. You will always be at the top of my prayer list along with your family. Trusting God to be with you minute by minute until it's a done deal. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!! Love, Yvonne

It's 9:36 and I'll bet things are shining bright where you are, with the candles. I got goosebumps when I read your post too, and I am just thrilled at your girl power!

And yes, I got the letters from my sister (My ADHD Me) and will put them on this weekend and post a picture too.

Praying for more miracles for you! Keep fighting like a girl!
