Alexa and I had a great time last week. I was glad the girls got home safely and we have been homeschooling hard this week already. If the weather warms up off to the park with the other Hschoolers in the area:)
Thinking we may hit Charlotte this weekend for quick hey before radiation. Then back on with the pink gloves. Boy I never thought I would be going through this. It was been a rough road but I am fighting hard. I will stop by and visit soon. Looks like a lot of fun things going around. Keep blogging!

I have a cross in the middle of my chest
As for my news. You all know that the Army has transferred us to Charlotte. (if anyone is attending She Speaks remember to let me know) Well since we move so much we have always sold our home by our self. Of course it is different times but I was planning on sticking with it. I had an open house for Realtors. One of the realtors approach me and said she wanted to help me. I thought of course everyone wants to help me. Realtors are hungry so everyone wants to sell me house. She said again no I want to help you! I look at her and said do you know me? She said I talked to your husband and I know you have cancer. She said that I have been passing your house for weeks now and I know that I am suppose to do this. I wish I could do this for everyone but this is the place I need to be. I am looking at her. She said that I want to tell your house for $0. I will not make any commission and the owner will not charge you anything. She said we need to take care of you and sell your house and get you to Charlotte with your husband. So I was brought to tears. So last night she had a stager come and work on my house. It was weird seeing 5 people moving stuff around. Alexa was feeling bad and not too thrilled with what they were doing. Anyway God is good and I can not wait to see what happens.
In the next few weeks I am going to be Paying Forward, Passing on a blog award that was giving to me by Mimi and Cindy(sorry I am behind) and a few Give Aways:) So lets have some fun. Make sure you check back.
My babies come back tomorrow! Miss you Savannah and Madison.

Back tomorrow for markings
Yesterdays appt: Edie to answer your question. I can not have my blood pressure or shots in my left arm anymore. Nothing medical on that side. I do not have lymphedema in my left arm but I am high risk. So no hot tubs (my is forsale now) no hot showers. No weights or heavy arm swinging. Dont carry anything heavy. She said to get use to not carry my purse on that arm. No tight clothes. Since the lymph nodes filter the lymph fluid. It normally can regulate all of these things we normally do. In my case it cant so I have to care for my arm. I learned how to stretch so that I do not lose range of motion but of course not over do it which can cause lymph edema. The PT was great and very helpful. If anyone has advice feel free:)
I do want to tell you something that happened to me. God is taking care of me. I just want to make sure that I am not being taken advantage of first. Having cancer can make you vulnerable. So tomorrow I will share my story.
Pray for me tomorrow as I go back.

PS-Nichole you were right I was not alone. As I sat in the room before anyone came in I was quietly praying and when I raised my head I look up at a black and white picture of a pair of hands reaching to the sky letting go of a beautiful blue butterfly. God was showing me that I was STRONG and that I can do this. So he is "cool like that"

You are doing so well with all the test/treatments/surgerys/Dr visits(each one with new news and twist). I couldnt be prouder of you! I know as you are thinking aboout the past and future, you are scared and it must be over whelming! I want you to know that I love, respect, and cherrish you for who you are and who you have been and what its taking you daily to fight off this awfull cancer! emotionaly I try to stay strong, focused and confident.. Sometimes I have taken the trash just to be able to breakdown by myself because I dont want to upset you anymore than you are inside already. I know and the girls know how much you love them! We love you too! Getting my things ready for Charlotte has not been easy, it has just helped me stay busy. I feel so sad yet encouraged for June to get here! More snow?
Since I blogged last it has been a few days of confusing and unclear feelings. I did talk to my Dr on Friday. She seem to not be surprised that I had 11 nodes positive. She said since the Dr missed it a year and half ago. She told me that I was not done until radiation and the medicine I have to take is complete. She said that the chemo did work but just did not give me a complete response. It is scary to know that it could be floating around or in the tissue were the lymph nodes were. I did want to make something clear. During my surgery the doctor removed my lymph nodes. I guess I may have not been clear. As far as the surgery I feeling much better. I go back on Thursday to get checked again. Please continue to pray for me by name. I need for this therapy to work. I need radiation to clean up and sterilize my tissue. Please pray for me to be cancer free. Tomorrow I will be going were I will be having radiation. I will be learning what to expect for my next journey.
Thanks so much for leaving me comments. I need to surround myself around Scriptures of healing. Thank you for praying. Praising God for the tumor being gone.
I am trying to stay focused.

Very confused
The Mom BC Poem
I see you there so scared and frighted. I want to see you smile with light instead of the fright I see in your eyes. I want to scream to heaven for you. But all I need is pray and believe in my heart you will be fine. I know right now you need a hug but I think that I will wait for you to heal. I know this poem does not rhyme but that doesn't matter. This came right from my heart and to heaven it will go too I know. I love you!
Mommy, God will help you if you BELIEVE. Heart of Christ! Love Alexa
It meant the world to me:)
Today one of my friends told me that I need to give my results without doubt. So I am going to give this a shot. My results today were that the primary cancer in my breast was completely gone and the lymph nodes that were removed were positive for cancer. So the removed 14 and 11 of them had cancer. It is confusing for me to understand. As I am typing it is coming out very slow. Lord continue to heal me and I am praising you for the primary being gone. I have a bunch of questions for my Dr tomorrow. Please continue to pray for me. I will update tomorrow on what I find out. Next week I have another appt with the breast surgeon and an appt with where my radiation will take place.
Love you all

Day 6-details from my surgery
I would like to back up a little: Wed morning. Blog friends I was so scared that morning. I prayed non-stop. When they called me back. They asked me to take my clothes off and put on these tight stocking and gown. I was like greeeeeat! Stocking so I would not get any clots. Of course nurse #1 could not get an IV on me:( They were sweet though. Can you believe they give your family a blinking pager like you are at Outback LOL. After they got me ready I hear Ms. Summers we cant find your family?? We have paged them 2 times. I was laughing in my head because I figured Mike and my Mom probably thought they could not see again. So they called them on the cell phone. Anyway here comes Mike. I thought well this is my chance to give him one last hard time before I go into surgery (trying not to cry) Where were you?? I am the only one without there fam. I guess you were went to Dennys! I was totally kidding. They both kissed me bye. The transporter to the next holding area was sent from God. She was this tiny older lady who kinda looked scary? One eye sorta shut. Prayed for me the whole long, cold stroll down those hallways. I cried the whole way. I was praying Lord please let me wake up. Please be with me and please heal me. When she got me to where I was she said In Jesus name. Trust Him. I love her. So nurse #2 no IV. By now I am like yuck. She tried again and finally it was a go. Three sticks for this poor chick. She stepped out for a moment. Dr H came in. Now I am starring at him hard looking to see if I see a white angel above his head. He says ok here is the yucky part. He stuck a shot in my breast and moves it around. They most pain I think I have felt since all of this came about. He leaves nurse comes in and says I am going to give you something so you can relax and you may not even remember anything after this. The doctor is going to come in and give you a shot. I said UMMM I just got a shot?? She was like already? I cant believe he gave it to you without anything. Girls I must be a tuff Mamma cuz I thought if i can do that then I can get through this surgery. So I do not remember anything after that until I woke up. Mike and Mom said that they were brought in to see me because I was teary eyed and scared. They said I talked to them and the drs but I do not remember. Mom said she thought that I messed up and that I would not remember. When I woke up I was in recovery. Nurse #3 was worried about me because my heart rate was 150 and moving. So from 1245 until 3 they did not get to see me. Now you all dont know Mike yet but he was about bust the doors down. He loves this little chick. I know this is long but I have a reason. The over all staff was good to me up to this point. I want to thank God for taking good care of me. I remember being so happy to be ALIVE. Off to my room. Nurse#4 he was very good to me. Ms. Summers I have lots of good drugs for you today. Just ask. You can have 4mg of morphine every 4 hrs. Oh my I think I will just take 2 thank you sir! He was great. Nurse #5 you would have thought I was being pranked. She came in to check me and the bed got stuck and every time she pushed the button the bed got worse. By the time I decided I am getting off this bed before I die she had my legs higher then my head. I looked like a hot dog stuck in a bun. Here I am "Mom can you take me to the bathroom"? So while I was in there I told her get me a new bed please maybe a new nurse while you are at it:) When we got out she had rest it. Thank goodness. While she was leaving she knocked over the blood pressure stand and everything went flying. You had to be there. She was good to me. So there ya go. I hope you enjoyed my journey through surgery.
Now I am just letting my body heal and getting ready for Thurs. Please pray for a cancer free report. Doctor could not find the clip or primary cancer in the breast. So I hope that path reports backs it up.
Tonight I would like you give Praise to God for getting me to this point. I would like to thank all of you for praying for me.
Til tomorrow

Relaxing and thinking (Praising for getting this far)
What am I worried about? What am I thinking? Today was a great day to just think about everything that I have been through since Aug. It all happened so fast. Well as I thought today I started to get a little nervous about the surgery. Why do we always worry about waking up? I don't know but that is the one thing that I keep worrying about. I am not really worried about the pain or getting use to being without a body part. It is so weird looking at the doctor/nurses and going to sleep and than waking up and it being done. My surgery is suppose to 2 hrs and my stay in the hospital is one night. They get you out fast! I am praying for a successful procedure. I am praying for the cancer to be gone before they get there. I am praying for a healthy recovery so I can continue to raise my beautiful girls.
I was wondering do you think God is sending the snow here tomorrow for a reason? Do you think it is a reminder that He is here and the beautiful white snow that is going to fall will keep me looking up to watch it fall?
Pray tomorrow that the girls will understand this is just another step in our journey that Mommy has to go through. I am looking forward to loving and snuggling them.
Pray that my Mom has a safe a trip tonight. I am lucky that she will be with me for a week. She is going to help me with my drains and whatever else comes along with this surgery. I am having a radical on the left and a mastectomy on the other. Sounds scary to me. Tonight I have to start taking a new medicine. I have to take it for 5 years. I am hoping I will do fine with it.
Thanks for all your comments, calls and facebook visits. I request please:) Mike will be updating my blog and checking my facebook. Encourage him and let him experience the power that I have experienced from all of you.

Chemo Treatment #6 Prayer Warriors Wanted
I want to take a few minutes and tell you how much it has meant to me to have all of my family behind me. You have jumped in and helped with the kids, cooking, cleaning and laundry. You have lived in my house and left yours behind without questioning it. You have sat with me during long chemo visits. You have driven me to doctors appt and to fill scripts. And most of all you have watched me from the beginning hear news and results that have brought me to my knees with screams and tears that have changed my life forever.
THANK YOU
To my friends that have known me for a long time. I know it has been hard. What to say? How to act? What to do? You have been great. I love you and thank you for coming and helping out. You are a true friend.
THANK YOU

Day 109-Good Morning
We just got home last night. Yes I did say that. We went to Charlotte for a quick trip. We left Friday late morning. The girls were sick off and on all last week and weekend. So we are off to the dr's at 2 today. But anyway we spend Fri with Mike's family and Sat with mine. I will post pictures later my computer is still not working. Everyone had a lot of fun. Sat I had tons of visitors so thanks Stephanie and Jon for opening your house to all my friends. It was fun and tiring all in one to see everyone. People I saw:
Nicki from three girly girls-She came by and sat with me for a while. Thanks Nicki for coming by and look forward to seeing you when I am back. Nicki and I were neighbors which turned into great friends and bible study pals. Love ya girl. Teri came by to see me. We also became friends after living in the same neighborhood. We sat around and ordered tupperware with the girls. She is always there for me. It was tons of fun. Love ya girl! My girlfriend from Miami Keri which now lives in NC. It was great to see her. I know it has been hard for her to see me sick. We have known each other since before school days. So I was happy to see her. Love you. Mary and Nicholas came to see Madison and me. She was Madison's K teacher. We became friends and we love her baby. She has been a huge support to Madison when we moved. She has also been positive and Strong for me when I was falling. We love your family very much. Check out her blog and you will see pictures of our visit. (it is on my sidebar The Camp Fam)I saw my girlfriend Carrie. She was the one that just left here. It was great to see her. My girls love her and got really attached when she was here. Love you girl. Then I met Gayla she has been leaving comments on my blog for a while now. She is a breast cancer survivor for 15 yrs. She was very open with me and shared info and answered lots of questions. So it was great to finally meet. Love ya. Of course it was great to see everyone and I hope I did not forget anyone. Please know that it was fab.
My Savannah was with her best friend for the weekend. She is like our 4th daughter we love her and it was great to see them together. Sharon thanks for loving my family and look forward to building our relationship. Love ya.

I am going to pause and I hope you do right here and pray for me to be healed completely.....Amen! I am so happy that I have all of you. Thank you for letting me be honest. It has been a hard road and still a lot to go but I truly BELIEVE I could not have done it with out YOU and the PRINCE OF PEACE! Love all of you.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I love you. My family and Mike's thanks for everything. Breeanna and Carson love you.

Someone is taking Alexa's bracelets out of the cards. This is very upsetting so let me know if you receive one. We mailed about 15 of them last week. So far one made it. I know of 2 that the card made it with a slit in it. So please pray that the next bunch make it. I need to make a trip to Micheals and I guess I will start paying insurance. Please give us some time. She really wanted you to have them by Christmas. Sorry

Nicki I saw you have a friend in IN will see if they would like to wear a bracelet for her state? Thanks so much for helping. Also I am receiving the coolest ornaments. They mean the world to me. Day 14-Waiting for results still-PRAY
About the She Speaks Conference: I have been waiting for the right time to tell you about my news. I told you about Mike making the promotion list a while back. Well we were told that when it was time to move that we would have to move out of the southeast this time. So we were concerned because of my medical needs. We knew that it would be hard for family to help being too far north or too far west. I just pushed it to the side and said I was not going to worry about it. So not too long after that Mike received a call with a position in Charlotte, but in order to take the position he had to move in Feb with or without me. After talking about it we decided that this is part of the Plan. Most of our family is in Charlotte. So we just put the house up for sale this week. We are not sure with the housing market how long it will take but it is God's hand so I will wait. So I will stay back with the girls and finish treatment, Alexa will finish school and we will wait for the house to sell. I am so excited. What I am extremely excited about is that I will be getting the chance to meet a lot of you who will be attending. I will not be attending but in the same city with all of you. We are just going to have to make the time. Mimi I am not sure if you attend but I know you live close so we should be able to surely meet. Anyway I have been sitting on this because I could not believe we got this offer. It is so neat when things just fall into place. So if you are out there and something is just not going your way. Don't worry just let it go and give it to God and it will fall into place.
Much love

My journey-catching up new viewers
Everything has been going well. I was loving my life. I was excited to start my new journey of homeschooling my two youngest when my life took a huge hit. Over the summer I went to the dr about a lump that I found. I was referred to an imaging center where I had an ultrasound and mammogram. The sad thing to this part of the story I brought this to my dr attention a year ago. He decided that I was fine and I did not need anything. So then I had a biopsy done. The results took forever. It was the longest week. When I finally got the call it was the worst day of my life. How was I going to tell my husband? How was I going to tell my family? Worst of all how was I going to tell my daughters. Next was a MRI to find where the cancer is. Then a biopsy of the cancer. Then waiting for the results. I saw a breast surgeon. He gave me the results. I was told stage 3. I was devastated. I went from the surgeon to the oncologist. After several scans and lots of appts. It was time to start my journey of fighting like a girl. The plan for me: 6 treatments, surgery, radiation and then reconstruction. Before I started chemo I knew I would have to talk to the girls. So I did. I chose to tell the girls at different times. It took everything out of me. This is where the bracelets took life. You can read back for more details on how I talked to them. So I started chemo and I am now on the 5th. It has been up and down. I am doing fine and looking forward to being done with this part.
Thanks for letting me catch up everyone. When I started blogging I never dreamed it would be therapy for me. It has been a way for me to be real and journal about my everyday life living with cancer. I have leaned on my faith to keep me focus. I did not know by choosing to believe and be obedient that I would find all of you. When I requested people to pray for me I did not know how amazing it was going to be. Because of all of you I am making it everyday. Thank you for blessing me everyday.
I am praising God tonight for another great day. I am looking forward to many more. Praying for a miracle and excited to give Him all the Glory!!
Love Cindy
PS-my email is down(if you have emailed in the last day sorry it will be back up on Friday)
Lee=ornaments-I would love to have one that is a reflection of prayergifts if you have time:)
Day 12-Appt changed until Thurs
Today was the first day since I started chemo that I went to the park and walked for 30 mins. I was so happy. It was a bit cold and raining lightly but I did not care. This girl was gonna walk. It wore me out but I have felt wonderful today. So thank you for praying for strength for me. I so can feel what you are praying for me.
I know that there are a lot of new viewers out there. So I wanted to catch everyone up on my journey and who the Summers' are. I know that I said I would do that yesterday but I am going to do it tonight. So I will post a little later.
Til tonight

Day 9-Tired but everyday a little easier
Alexa looking at the computer. She is getting tired and ready for bed soon.
My cousin Nikki came to visit today. She is so tired after playing with my girls today. We are so happy that she came.
I have been house bound today trying to stay well. It has been a fun day and I can not complain. It is getting so close to Christmas and I am so far behind. I want to start getting in the mood . I am excited about the ornaments even if they come after the fact. It will mean so much to us.
Alexa is getting some more orders for bracelets. I will post next week what states are being covered.
I also am curious who is attending the She Speaks Conference in Charlotte? I think that is what it is called? I will explain why wants I get dome feedback.
I know that there are viewers that are just know reading in so I am going to chat a little about my journey on Monday. I know it is hard to go back and read 100+ posts. I am follower of God and love you to join me. I am praying for a Miracle and looking to give God all the glory. As my bracelet says I am believing. It is important for me to share how much I am being blessed everyday by bloggers praying for me and taking time to share scripture and love with me. It is my journey and I thank you for letting me share. I thank you for letting me be me through the good and bad.
Have a wonderful night

Day 7-Feeling so-so
I will be putting some pictures up this weekend of the girls. They have taken up cooking and baking with Yaya. They are having so much fun. So I am looking forward to cooking with them.
My day yesterday: Madison and I let Daddy sleep in and cook breakfast for him. It was a lot of fun. I homeschooled the girls. I drove for the first time since chemo on Friday and checked my po box. So it was a full day for me. I think Daddy was surprised and enjoyed it.
I am looking forward to catching up on every one's blogs. I sure do miss it. I am also looking forward to seeing all your ornaments. The girls and I will work on ours.
I am thinking off all of you. Thanks for praying and lifting me up. I love you.

Day 5-Tuff but up
Thanks Mike, Mom and my inlaws for caring for me without any questions. Thanks for loving the girls. I am very lucky. Thanks to all my blog friends...someday I want to tell you how you have changed my life forever.
I have all the request for bracelets. They are being made. Canada too:)
The girls and I came up with an idea. It has to do with ornaments on our tree. If you would like to make an ornament with your name and/or blog info. It would be a reminder for my girls that you are a part of our lives to celebrate every year. It would be beautiful to see your love on our tree. Peace and love coming your way.

Day 20-Praises
Tomorrow I will start taking my meds to get ready. As I prepare for Friday please pray that I can tolerate the chemos. It scares me each time. You should see me in the chemo room. You all would laugh at me. I never relax like everyone else. I never sleep like everyone else. No way! I ask a million questions. I mean I question everything. I am the baby in there compared to everyone else. I get stares and glances. I know they are saying she is too young to be here. Thank goodness my husband and mom are so good and patient with me. It will never get to be a routine with me. I take each treatment very seriously. So please pray that I will be OK.
I hope that someday that someone out there going through this terrible, scary unbelievable dream can have hope and faith and know that I will walk them through. I want them to know that anything is possible through Him.
Thank you my committed friends for helping, supporting and praying for me. It means so much.

Day 19-Great day
Thank you for all your support. It has meant so much to me. I am hoping everyone is having a great week. I plan on spending the rest of the week getting ready. My mom and my in laws will be here on Thursday night. Wishing them safe travels here. Oh I forgot to mention I am by myself this week. Tonight I cooked too. Loving feeling myself.
Dear God thank you for holding my hand, walking with me when I am scared, carrying me when I could not take another step and covering me with prayer warriors from all over. I am thankful and I am giving you the Glory and Praising you always. Amen

Day 18-Good day
Thank you so much for all the support that you continue to send. I love reading and hearing from you. You are serving our God well and I thank you for it.
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Around our table giving thanks was a lot of tears. Mom had all of us crying. Anyway I am thankful for my life and meeting all of you. Thanks to my inlaws and mom for having Thanksgiving here with us.
Alexa still is working on her bracelets. I have not been well enough to find more prayer warriors out there to represent their state. She wants to cover all the states. So let me know where you live and help fulfill her dream.
Happy December! Spread the word. Reach out and tell someone that you love them. If you are missing something don't go another day lonely. God loves you!
Love Cindy
